French for heart with cream, it blends together a sweet decadent mixture of Fromage Frais with crme frache, or sour cream, which is then molded into a heart shape, and crowned with fresh berries or other creative toppings. Measuring 4-inches with a 4-ounce capacity, HIC's Coeur A La Creme Dish makes 1 to 2 delicious servings. The footed bottom raises the mold above the resting surface so that liquids can drain away through the perforated bottom, allowing the cheese mixture to compact to the ideal creamy consistency. It's super easy to use. Simply place the heart-shaped mold onto a dish or pan with sides to catch liquids that drain off. Spoon in the mixture and place level in the fridge to chill. Follow the recipe directions for proper setting time.
